Wells is located 660 kilometers (396 miles)
north of Vancouver off Highway 97 to Highway 26.

Wells is about one hours drive from Quesnel along paved highway.

Barkerville Historic Town is just a few minutes east of Wells.

The world famous Bowron Lake Provincial Park is approximately
30 minutes from Barkerville, mostly on well gravelled road.
